By my google-fu the chipset that provides wifi support to the phone is the BCM4325 which can be put in monitor mode using the driver b43 (b43 [Aircrack-ng]).

Which driver does spica use?

Samsung unveiled the successor of their highly popular Hummingbird processor - Orion. The new platform is based on 1GHz dual-core ARM Cortex A9 CPU, packs a vastly better GPU and allows 1080p video encoding/decoding. Plus there is support for up to three displays.

The mobile scene just got on the next evolutionary step. Samsung Orion is the powerful successor of the popular Hummingbird CPU(used in Galaxy S/Galaxy Tab,
Wave, iPhone 4/iPad). It packs a new 1GHz
dual-core ARM Cortex A9 architecture, a 5
times more powerful graphic accelerator and HDMI 1.3a interface supporting two on-device
and one external displays.

The new chip should allow way better gaming experience, 1080p video playing and recording
at 30fps as well as, of course, the multiple
display support.

Samsung Orion will become available to manufacturers partners in Q4 this year, while
the mass-production cycle will start in the first
half of 2011.

Sync your Spica with iTunes!

DISCLAIMER: This post are for people who are NEW to android. So DO NOT leave comments saying that we all know this, because not all of us do.

Hi everyone,

I have a decent sized music collection on iTunes and I add more music onto it quite often. If you're a hardcore music lover like me, or just moved to android and away from Apple, you'd realize by now that getting music organized on your spica is not that easy. Thus this guide.

Pre-requisite
1) A usb connection from your spica to your computer
2) Enable usb debugging. Settings > Applications > Development > Usb Debugging
3) iTunes (Duh...)

There are TWO methods that I know of to get the music from your iTunes to your Spica

Method 1 - Double Twist

Visit this website first Sync Android, Motorola, Samsung, HTC: doubleTwist with Amazon MP3

Self explanatory. Not difficult.

I personally don't like this method because I have to install a iTunes-like software on my computer. But it's an easier method, and more suited to those who just want to get their music onto their Spica.

Method 2 - The Missing Sync

Android Sync Software for HTC EVO, Nexus One, Droid, Hero and Other Android Phones

It's a paid software. I bought it. You can try pirating it.

Basically it's a third-party software that grabs directly from your iTunes library and sends it to your spica. The good thing about this is that every time you sync your phone with the software, it doesn't completely send the entire music collection to your phone again; Just the changes.

It does more than just basic song transfers but I stick to just the song transfers.

NOTE: The requirement to download an android app for this is actually optional. The app is used for other more advanced features. Go ahead and try them out. I don't have it installed on my Spica.

That's all folks! Leave a comment or PM me if you need help. I will be updating this post with solutions to common problems if they are any.

I was just wondering which music player you guys use.

EDIT: I personally use the Music Mod V1.6 MDPI + HDPI. You can get it here for free. NO IT WAS NEVER A PAID APP
Guys, share what other music players you use if it wasn't on the list. It benefits everyone. XD
