Android SDK unable to install !!!

okay here goes :
i downloaded the android SDK....took hours on it....
then it it says it needs the Java Development Kit.....okay....hours to download again.......
but even after installing JDK, the android SDK still says that there is no JDK installed...
little help here guys???

PS: internet speed over here....yucK !!!

There some bug in installer.

I don't remeber exactly, but I think that when you have this error you need to press back first and then next and it should work.
