- 1 go to application > manage aplication > market : and clear cache.
- 2 reboot and change the time to : 23h58 (do not open the market)
- 3 wait to 00h02
- 4 open market

I doubt it would speed anything up. Setting it to 32 allows a few more apps to run correctly but this figure isn't about speed.

Not for MarketUpdate.apk but for Market.apk

MarketUpdate.apk haven't cache.

App doesn't work on my phone- no backup is made and changes are not saved into build.prop.
But I already have somewhat modified build.prop onboard (from qbanin_jit-dvm-0.8 package).
Phone config- samdroid 1.3.1 deodexed, Qbanin's kernel 250+ jit-dvm-0.8, system, data and cache @ext4

Just used it and changed my screen density and found out it didnt work.

Tried to change it manually and found out that instead of adding "ro.sf.lcd_density=140" line in build.prop, it added something like this "ro. sf.lcd _density =140"(notice the spaces) and as i understand it, white spaces are considered as new line and ignored with xml like codings. I just deleted the spaces and is now working.

Cheers for your feedback guys. Ungaze, could you confirm that this happens every time? the source is directly modifying it but there certainly is no extra space in there. I use the app all the time.

@darth_llamah, so it doesn't even make a backup of the file, even to the SD Card? :-(

I'll still work on this, but It looks like I'm going to be busy until the new year :-) I stick by my promise to release source.
