Hey titanicsaled, could you add this Google Maps 5.5.0 mod for working navigation by ownhere? I don't use it personally, but maybe it'll be useful for some people (maciek4323's kitchen has version 5.4.0 of the modded version).

PS: Thanks for this thread, I was just starting to get annoyed by all those Gapps automatically updating themselves and hogging precious memory on /data

I've uninstalled updates to gmaps, then I've installed latest 5.5 from here, but strangely market tells me that there is an update to 5.5... Any clues?
