On the website Samsung firmware the latest version seems to be XEEIL1, download link http://www26.zippyshare.com/v/63990512/file.html .
In order to flash the Spica by Odin the tutorial refers to files OPS, Bootloader, Phone, CSC and PDA. In the archive there is only PDA file. Why are the other files missing? How can we flash with only the PDA file?

Select spica.ops and PDA file you downloaded.

The single file you have consists all the necessary files within it.
It automatically flashes the ROM with all the necessary files.

Hi there. I'm having a problem trying to connect my phone to odin. It doesn't recognize it... what can I do? Some information to help you help me:

I have odin v4.03
When I put my cell in download mode or firmware mode it doesn't do nothing. Shouldn't it make a noise or something? And the phone should be on or off when I do that? I've tried volume down+OK+end and volume down+camera button+end.

Hold the volume down+camera button+end for 5 seconds, your phone should boot into firmware mode, with a blue floppy symbol showing the download.
then connect the phone to PC and flash using odin.

Hi. Thanks for the quick answers. But still no luck.

First of all, I don`t know how to install the drive correctly. All I`v done is install "Swallowtail_v4440_WHQL_Certified". Is that enougth?
Second, my cell is locked and I`m starting to think that prevents me to flash the firmware. With odin started and the cell connected, I turn the phone off and then back on with the volume down+camera+end. Odin gives me the following message:

<1> Detected!!!
<1> Disconnected!!!

What can that be and how can I make it work?

Продолжение истории с перепрошивкой.
Поставил чистую Windows XP Pro, дрова для телефона. Перевел его в режим перепрошивки. Odin 3.98 и 4.03 сразу же обнаруживают телефон. Запускаю от имени администратора. Но Odin 4.03 не может подключиться к телефону, а 3.98 вылетает со следующим логом:

<1> Engine RUN!!!
<1> setup connection...
<1> odin mode.. check platform verification.
<1> START!!!
<1> odin mode.. do file mapping..
<1> e - unknown file - "cache.rfs"
<1> e - unknown file - "d"
