    Default Restore original kernel

    Hi
    I flashed the new kernel to my spica, fw XXIJ6. Now I would like to flash back the original kernel. How do I do this?
    The only thing I have got is a 150 Mb dump of /dev/bml5. Can the original kernel be extracted from there, or does anyone have have that kernel?

    thank

    For restore original kernel you need /dev/bml4, but I suppose in your case you can use original kernel from any fw (imho)

    Kernel (zImage) in /dev/bml4
    /dev/bml5 - /system (factoryfs.rfs)

    if you have original package firmware XXIJ6, you can extract zImage and flash it alone

    Dont know, just wanted to make it original with unmodified kernel. Newer kernel, yet unmodified is fine with me. Other suggestions?

    I have a dump ( /dev/dml4). How do I make a zImage from that? And do I just put the zImage into a tar and upload it with Odin?

    You can:
    - rename bml4 -> zImage
    - pack in tar
    - run Odin and open this tar as PDA archive and flash it

    If size of of this zImage will be more than partition size, Odin show error
    If Spica can't boot, you can flash true zImage (original or my)
