    Default Developers vs Developers

Прошу разработчиков выяснять отношения в этой теме. Если нужно сделаю ее именной.
I ask the developers to sort things out in this thread. If you want to make her name.

    @gotenks - this is a request

I understand your point of view but you always look at the negative side of things. Look at the positive side which is the growth of spica. There are a lot of people who respect your work and you should know that but you only look at the other side.

The people who get angry at you are passionate about spica and spica is there only phone. you should put yourself in there shoes and then think.

If you do not want to share the sources I respect that decision.

    @others
Please do not go about cursing gotenks, it's his personal decision and we need to respect that.

    munchy,

You supported me in times when I was fighting with a kernel alone. I never forget this, and I want to publicly Thank you.

If you remember our private conversations, I predicted the current situation with 100% accuracy. You tried to convice me that I was wrong long ago, similary to your current post. Well, I stay unconvinced . Unfortunately, a moderator removed posts showing how users treat real developers, so I am not able to refer to those posts anymore. I know there are users who are properly judging the situation, but they are a minority. Unfortunately.

You're kidding, right ? They got angry ?! Come'on. They hate me. They have their "idols" and I "touched" those "idols". That's all ...

    BTW,
There was one post, which I couldn't answer because the thread was cleaned, which clearly showed that people are not able to even properly read what I write, without "a hate". The post stated that "I claim all over the forum that I have a fix and I will not publish it". Due to this fact I should "shut up" and "keep silence". The guy who wrote this, probably even did not read my first post today, yet he stated his opinion. Here is what I wrote :

If the guy could read with understanding and without the "hate", he would notice that :

    1. I corrected a false claim, that the bug comes from a system
    2. I stated that I know what I am talking about, because I have fixed it.

I said nothing about publicing or not my fix. It's only this guy's imagination.

Such an imagination was/is presented by most of "haters". Sad, but true.

I think the biggest problem is that the "haters", as you call them gotenks, will more than likely turn out to be "youngsters" and typical of them they will put down the first thought that comes into their heads without really thinking it through. I know I did when I was in my teens and if we are all honest I think most have been like that.

I have run many a forum over the years and this is a common problem, thing is ignore those you can't reason with or who just don't get where you are coming from and concentrate on what one does best. Remember you can't please all of the people all of the time, no matter what you do. In this thread there have been many complaints about this not working etc, they just forget that the latest release is for testing to discover those exact faults they moan about.

Another problem is that some find it difficult to express exactly what they mean in English as it's a second language, who am I to criticise that? I can't speak any other language at all.

So just my two cents worth so to speak.

    All the best

    Yeah!

Gotenks why you don't release a kernel so we can see there is a 3g bug fix? And can keep the sources to yourself...or maybe tell banjo how to fix the bug...everybody would be happy...I think this will end the fight and you´ll become a god to the users.

I don´t want to fight with you...so sorry if I can express myself in a propper english.

I do remember our private conversation and they will remain private. I removed those posts but you had already read them and that's why I am not removing posts from this thread.

I aint kidding, the truth is that people who love you and your work will never say it publicly as compared to people who hate you and that happens in real life also.
People never appreciate you in your face but will condemn you at your face.

I know it's hard, but the best way as per me is to don't let the haters comment affect you. This is just a forum and as you said there are more things in life so why even care about what people say, just do what you feel is right for the community. forget the haters bro, there are all kind of people in the world. some will agree with you and some won't.

PS:- I am trying to do what is best for the spica and that is you continue with the development and not care about the haters.

For all those of you who are asking gotenks to release a kernel with 3g fix and not release the code, he won't do it. I know him. He prefers to open source and then release.

I'll say it publicly... porting .32 is a great a achievement and I did contribute a small sum in appreciation.

It would be nice to bottom out the 3g issue, but have no expectations or demands. The stuff talented devs can do with our obsolete phone is a source of wonder, and I enjoy all of the work that comes through this forum

Well said. I only have my Spica and it's kinda pet for me...
Can we please stop this emotional discussion... it makes no sense...
Haters are haters lovers will be lovers.... that will ever be so...

Just give all for the Spica.

@ gotenks "u" is the shortening of "you" ; ) sorry if i wrote some misunderstanding things.

I think our gods have ran out of beer and tracing bugs is no longer fun. Come on everyone, let's chip in for our devs so that they can buy plenty of beer and fix all those damn bugs for us. I've done my bit, now it's your turn people!

Ok I get it, some users hurt your feelings. Well... buhu, live with it! If you don't want to share your knowledge then don't. Besides... this is not the right thread to be if your goal is to whine about how bad some users treated you. Create a "I'm hurt and nobody loves me" thread instead.
