Shift google account for market

I bet this happened to someone else before:
You have a gmail account: cutepingponey(at)gmail.com and lots of stuff associated to it.
It has already been a pain in the ass (still is since the process is still not finished) to move mail, calendar events, docs and contacts: But the android market linked apps are still linked to the old account, and if i shift to the new account, i don't even see my currently installed apps under the "My apps" section in android market... and i think i left my currently purchased apps behind in my old account as well...

Is there any way to transfer those purchased apps to the new google account?

As far as ive found out online, its not possible.

The best solution ive read was to sync all your emails and contacts to your new account, and only sync your market with the old one.

That's just stupid if it IS not possible... What if your googlemail account gets hacked and you have to get a new account for security reasons? you're stuck with all your paid apps linked to an account you can't access any more?

There HAS to be a way to do it - try emailing google themselves? maybe they can advise (if they get back to you.....)

Google should have a service for migrating accounts, just move everything related to one account to the other, but they just don't...

Yeah - a migrate feature would be perfect because it wouldn't leave the first account able to access the same info would it - it could close the whole account and move all rights and priviliges to the new one...

I despise google lately anyway - I've been trying to import the F1 2012 calendar into my google calendar - but I can't "add calendar" to my calendar (if you follow)
While we're here, has anyone else managed to do this?
