Samsung Galaxy Ace vs Galaxy Spica

What do you think of Galaxy Ace?
It's know to have 2.3 but... how is it? Is it a good phone? Outdated?
I just saw an offer where i can take it at a reasonable price.... Im waiting for MIUI One to become available in china, but im becoming quite impatient, and i wish to keep my spica for testing and 2nd phone.....
What are your thoughts about this phone?

Anyways i wont advice u to buy ACE. Its better than spica but not worth the price.

i think ace is good mid-end android device. it also have CM7 ported to it.

I use CM 7.1 with android 2.3.7 and it's preety good

my mom's holding an ace... she doesn't allow me to experiment on it... (yea.. experiment = root) but i did a quick quadrant score and i realised the highest it could go was 500+(w 3D)... on the other hand, tom3q kernel can easily reach 700+ - 800 (w/o 3D). What's the main reason for it?

performance doesn't always measured in quadrant...my mom also had an Ace(unrooted) and i can say that in almost all aspects(stability, speed, gaming, apps, camera) it outperform Spica...,

here in the philippines, my mom's brand new ace is almost the same price of my spica when i bought it last year

Well, I just hope my Spica will get the performance of Ace one day. Maybe because of Tom3q, maybe because of other dev...
Currently, Ace is much better than Spica. If you can buy it for a low price, it is worth a try.

Remember that Ace's UI is fully GPU accelerated, just as its built-in browser. So the hardware is not very special
but the smoothness is very, very good like in high-end phones.

Does it have a different browser than Android's default? If it really uses hardware acceleration, not just software rendering as the default one, we could use it on Spica. Same goes for its launcher (TouchWiz?).
