eye-fi upload from android phone to internet
Have you gotten anywhere on getting the eye-fi to use the android phone as a hotspot instead of a separate router ?
I am very interested in this aspect of the software.

any progress
Any progress on this version. How far a long is this version.
I would be very interested in this working version as soon as possible.
If you needs some one to test it I have 2 droids and could test for you.
I would be willing to make a sizable donation to you for a working version like this.

Tether Droid to Eye-Fi Card
Barnacle for some reason will not work but the wifi tether for root users
does tether to the Eye-Fi Pro card.
I used the Eye-Fi center to scan for the wifi network & connected to the Droid wifi Network.
Now I can use the Droid as a hotspot and a Wi-Fi to 3G gateway to transfer pictures taken on my digital camera straight to my computer or photo site from anywhere I can get internet with my Droid phone.

hey-
how did you get the eyefi center to see the wifi tether connection from your droid?
when i initiate the connection from my Cyanogen Droid, it looks like windows sees it as an adhoc connection and i am able to connect to the internet...
when i go into eyefi center, it doesnt see the connection, so i cant add it to the card.
any ideas?
