1. Samsung Flasher + spica.ops: Odin_v4.03.zip
2. Drivers for Samsung i5700: dvr5700.zip
Ok, now how to flash
1. Download kernel for Spica: i5700-PDA_zImage-LK10.rar, unpack
2. Unpack Odin and we get two files: Odin_Multi_Downloader_v4.03.exe и spica.ops
3. Put i5700-PDA_zImage-LK10.tar in Odin folder (but don't unpack it!)
4. Switch off Spica and Press volume_down+camera+switch_on
5. Connect to PC and install drivers
6. Run Odin
7. Odin must detect phone
8. Select as OPS file - spica.ops
9. Select as PDA file - i5700-PDA_zImage-LK10.tar
10. Select Reboot и Protect OPS
11. Click Start
12. Phone will flash and reboot
13. Download update-LK10.zip
14. Put archive to SD card (adb or mount SD to PC)
15. Turn off i5700
16. Press volume_down+call+end_call to enter to Recovery
17. Use keys Up/Down and OK - select "Apply any zip from SD"
18. Select update-LK10.zip and press ok
19. Press 'Home' to confirm
20. After "Install from sdcard complete" select 'Reboot' or press Home+Back
ок, now you have:
1. root (via 'su' + Superuser!!!, if you don't want Superuser read next part)
2. Preinstall WiFi tether APK for Spica i5700
3. New Recovery 0.3.2:
- Update (for install new update.zip)
- Backup you phone (/system & /data) to SDCARD (backup files you can find on /sdcard/samdroid.
- Restore - use Odin + tar file from /sdcard/samdroid folder as PDA (sorry, but we must use Odin)
- Wipe (/data & /cache)
4. Openvpn + libs (tun load by kernel on boot) only install tunnel droid from Market
5. Support droidwall - your personal firewall on Android, DroidWall for Samsung Spica i5700 (from Market it works uncorrectly)
Now su works through Superuser!
