How to get Root on Samsung i5700 [EN] (02/10 - v.LK10)

Hi Leshak,

I know this is quite old, but I am working with 1.5 to test with the GPS (only firmware where the GPS works reasonably well for me)
I flashed XEIL5, then flashed i5700-PDA_zImage-LK10 with Odin. Then, when installing update_LK10 i get an error message:

Installation aborted

And indeed, busybox is not installed. I do have root access on the phone and for the rest all seems well, so I wonder what could make the install fail?

I have installed the drivers with pdanet and the adb drivers are shown in device manager when I connect in debug usb mode. But when I go into download mode, there are no drivers there and odin is not connecting

bt i am flashing for da 1st time
i had official 2.1 earlier...

i tried
all combinations of
i5700_LK2-02_PDA
i5700_LK2-08_PDA

and updates
LK2-02-1_update
SamdroidMod_(94876)_update

but still m getting that error

Im going to flash my Samsung Galaxy Spica, and i have some questions before i start It.
I've the the "I570EXXJC1" version of firmware on my phone.

My questions are related to the topic:

• What's an "OPS" file? (What does it contain? I just want to know the technical background of the method.)
• Which one do i need? Spica.ops or Spica_jc3.ops? What's the difference between them?
• How can i avoid corrupting my IMEI?
• What are the reasons why an IMEI becomes corrupted? (Okay, EFS Clear can cause that, but what to do, in order to avoid that.)

I need some help,
i flash i5700_LK2-08_PDA with odin,
then i try to install any cooked version i can but it doesnt works....
when i try apply andy zip from Sd i get:

I cant too wipe dalvik cache...
