    Question Battery calibration + ext2?

Hi all, first off sorry if this has been addressed somewhere else or if this is the wrong place to post... but on to my question...

I'm running an Eclair combo that has surprised me for battery life and I'm currently testing it to its limits, with a good chance it will hit the 3-day mark between charges. I'm also planning to use this to drain the battery to do a calibration.

However... part of this combo is all to ext2. And there is a explicit warning when using ext2 that the filesystem can become corrupted "in case of a power loss". My question is, is there a chance my FS's will get hurt if on the last day of the stress test my phone shuts down to a depleted battery?

as far as i know, the phone SHOULD shut itself down gracefully when it actually runs out of power.

now i don't know which method you use, but some people will keep turning it back on until it won't turn on anymore, in THAT case, the file system won't be unmounted properly and could have errors.
