Extra Battery

Hi, I'm using the GPS a lot of times right now and I will for the next days and I would like to know where I can find extra batteries to replace when the current battery is getting discharged.
Where I live I can't find batteries to this model.

I started using Juice Defender but I got the battery depleted anyway =/

i have yet to find a place that sells a genuine battery... ebay is all china fakes... let me know if you find one

LOL where do you think the 'stock' battery is made!?

It plainly states on my very-much-not-fake battery: Made in China

This is a china "fake" battery that works great (lasts a bit longer than the original) and is cheap:

LOL, nice tip azunino... when I bought my Spica it came with the 900 mAh (same as the Samsung Star), and I bought a 1500 mAh in "Once" (

) for AR$ 40 ~ U$D 10. That was a year ago and that battery has been in continuous (as in 7x24) service until today. I'm not sure I'd call it fake - even considering where it came from - since the improvement was noticeable and in its good days it gave 60 hours without a recharge. It's not that good now and it's grown a little fat

, but if you dig you can still find cheap stuff in Buenos Aires.

PM if you're interested and I'll give you the exact address for that price. It was about 1/4 of what other shops asked for. You never know when you'll find it handy to have an extra battery.

it's not fake because it's made in china... it's fake because it costs $10, and when i got it, it weighs half as much as the stock battery, and the outside is just paper, instead of the proper metalic, foil type wrapper. it also lasts only 8 hours...

i think it's filled with newspaper, instead of a proper cell!

i bought a fake china battery for my old motorola a few years back... the battery kept bulging bigger until the back cover popped off one day... i dunno why i have such bad luck with batteries..

@azunino... i'll try the dealextreme battery. how many days you get on one charge?

Look for "msm.hk" battery...it's a good replacement for the original battery..also it got warranty..also made in china but not fake
