Fryo vs Gingerbread (without camera) - which is better

I was wondering whether Cyanogenmod 7 alpha 4 (Gingerbread) is good enough in terms of stability and performance compared to flavors of Froyo that are available, e.g., Samdroidmod, Spicagenmod, Cyanogenmod 6, and the marvelous kernels.

I know right now camera is not working on Cyanogenmod 7 but if we exclude that, is it better than the flavors of Froyo?

For now 2.2 is better. Smoother ui,camera,games,better performance.

Only a test version. He said so on his twitter. It is to let us try out the kernel.

Everything's working, except sensors (g sensor, compass), camera, hardware video, etc.
