Improved 3G/Edge Speeds

Installed 3g update on droid x running 2.3 602. Speed tests before update averaged 200 to 300 kbs. After the update averaging 1mbps.

Thanks to bring this topic up ... I don't even know that we got the possibility to change such things.

So i apply the modifications to my build.prop and here is the result :
Before : Down : 767 kbps Up : 350 kbps
After : Down : 1806 kbps Up : 340 kbps
no significative change in 2G.

That's amazing (nearly 3x better), as moreover i got an ADSL connection (so Home WIFI) of "only" 1200 kbps ...

I use the default settings as on first post. I currently use the SFR (france) network before switching operator tomorrow.

EDIT : With my new provider (Free use Orange Fr network) i reach 2400 kbps in HDSPA ...

works great, i only use 2g, and before applying i couldn't connect when i was in movement (car-bus), and now i can!!
