    Default Network unlock samsung spica

I have seen now a funny thing, i have used sgs tools, both i found in market, and with one of them i have seen only a black screen and then i got bored and saw nothing happened and now typing *#7465625# to see status of locks, i see network lock off, i have tried more hidden codes like #7465625*28638# i dont what did it, but without any problem and without expecting it, having a big surprise, my spica is network unlock, please can someone try it too? maybe we have a free method to unlock finally Thank you!

You didn't have to buy a code before using it? Some talk on XDA w.r.t SGS unlockers working on other models.

    I am just wondering
does anyone knows how to unlock spica?
because when i got my spica it was locked on a single network provider
i go to a place here in the philippines called green hills (buyer/seller of second hand phone)
they also repair unlock other phone unit
and i know for the fact that the first pre-requisite of rooting is that we should unlock our spica first
in green hills the people there were able to unluck my spica, for about 1000 peses (phillipine peso)
    so almost 20 us dollars,
how did they do that? i mean i cannot find a thread here on how to unlock our spicas am i right? or am not good in searching? ahahahaha

A network unlock is normally done via flashing a generic (unlocked) modem firmware, i do know this is quite simple for other makes and softwares but have never heard of it done on android, but it should work the same. And maybe odin can do it?

Think it's a little more complex, the lock may be linked to IMEI - you have supply that code to get an unlock code. I searched for ages before eventually buying an unlock code. It takes the code operators a while to get the codes (few days) someone suggested that they have to buy them from the network vendors.
