    Default Recovery Update E:Cant mount /dev/st16

    Hi,

    I'm having this annoying problem where I can't update in recovery because my system won't mount :s
    I'm using the SamdroidMod from the kitchen.

    Those anybody have an idea what the problem might be?

    Thanks for that but I didn't really see a solution other than reinstalling everything?

    If her "without base package" additionally selects then selects an (1) "Android OS standart components" or "Extended SamdroidMod components". Pack

    German
    Wenn ihr das "without base package" auswählt dann wählt noch zusätzlich ein (1) "Android OS standart components" oder "Extended SamdroidMod components". Packet aus.

    I had the same problem yesterday. Eventually I solved it by doing the following steps:

    - update any zip --> SamdroidMod_update.zip (full customised kitchen (light package + extra apk's you want))
    - update any zip --> jitv8.7_gl14_arm11.zip (I got the error message at most 'without base package' + JIT + apk combinations)

    This way I still had my apps and settings from LKmod 2.03.

    If it still doesn't work, you have to
    - wipe --> clear data/cache (factory reset)
    - update any zip --> SamdroidMod-1_0_3-update.zip
    - reboot and wait until spica has started fully to home screen.
    - update any zip --> SamdroidMod_update.zip (your own custom kitchten)
    - update any zip --> JIT...

    That way you'll loose all your installed apps and settings

    I've noticed that I can do the SamdroidMod_update and after that do any other update like for example JIT.
    You don't even have to clear data/cache which is good cause you won't lose anything
    But that's not really a solution though, you shouldn't always have do the samdroidmod_update just to be able to do any other update, right?

    right . That's why I typed.. samdroid_update followed by jit. I didn't need to reboot, it went well in that order. Probably because jit only replaces a bit of /system, while SamdroidMod_update replaces the whole pda part, including /data, where all your apps are (unless you use App2SD)
