Just Press [ Volume Down + Call Button + Call End Button ] when booting. It will only work if you got atleast LK2.02

If we have SamdroidMod 1.0.3 installed, the simplest way are:
    - run Samdroid Tools
    - click "Reboot" and choose "Reboot to Recovery"

I've same problem, can't apply any of zip, because the error above occurs.
Another strange thing is the following:
    bash-3.2# remount rw
mount: mounting /dev/stl6 on /system failed: Invalid argument
    bash-3.2# remount rw
    bash-3.2#

Every time, when i try to remount FIRST to rw, same error. Maybe, can you try to mount twice (at zip apply), and it'll solve our problem...

you can reflash the total ROM, and reinstall root, and then apply the mod, it will work

I second that. Nothing else helped, only reflashing main rom files.

A problem, similar to yours, begins when I add a custom apk with root explorer to /system/app directly in the phone (in my case helixLauncher.apk 1.4). After this event I cannot add .zip in recovery. The way out - you apply in recovery the total samdroid mod (it is possible to do this without error), and restore the function of recovery. I integrated helixlauncher according the tutorial (changed the file in the SamdroidMod_update.zip) and I retained the ability to add files in recovery. So I believe there is a problem with the mounting with su rights of partitions in our phone (I used only root explorer).
