It also happenend to me once when I was using samdroid 1.0.2 with standard launcher (Nexus Launcher2, as far as I recall). As the launcher was hanging sometimes I switched to Helix Launcher. Since then I never had this problem again. In the meantime I switched to Samdroid 1.0.3 and later to 1.2.x without facing the problem again. Hope it helps.

I'm kinda at a loss here.
If i build my own rom using this kitchen does it wipe all of my data on the phone or does it just update?

I kinda figure that using the "without base package" and adding some of the options in the bottom doesn't reset the phone and the other options in the top does? Am I right in that assumption?

Yeah, if you select without base nothing will be replaced. All your data will be intact.
But if you choose samdroidmod, your rom will be completely replaced by samdroidmod. Resulting in lose of all data.

That is used for changing you kernel to get full root access on your spica.

Finally got this working.. As explained by Lehshak...

1) I had EXXJE1 firmware.
2) Formatted the SD card for safety
3) I installed LK02 mod - flashing the PDA file and then applying the zip from recovery menu (Vol down key + Answer key + Power on key)
4) Restarted
5) I downloaded the Samdroid mod base package with selection of my apps..
6) Applied the zip from recovery menu
7) Ok.. here there was a problem.. the phone never went beyong SAMSUNG animation. it used to just shutdown... I then removed the battery.. Went to recovery and used Wipe - Data + Cache... and restarted.. finally after 4 -5 mins the phone booted...
8) Restarted the phone again
9) Downloaded the JIT + ARM compiler w/o base package
10) Applied the zip from the recovery menu..
And shazam I finally got everything started... The linpack score is above 7.. 3D gallery works beautifully smooth...

Not sure what happen to my phone, everything was going great, then i tried the jit 8.14, didn´t like it as phone was rebooting a lot, remove jit and installe arm 11 and all seem ok but yesterday all day I started having issues with calls, phone was just hanging, had to set up voice mail 5 times because it did not hold the configuration for some reason. Tried hard resetting to see if it was some app installed by me but right after reset the same problem happen.

will report later on to see if everything is back to normal. this time I'll stay away from JIT, ARM and all that to see how that goes.
