    Default SamdroidMod v 1.0.3 - LK2.03.3 + Root + more... [05/06/2010] [EN]

WARNING: THIS METHOD CAN BE DANGEROUSE. DO NOTHING IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU DO.
I CAN'T BE RESPONSIBLE IF YOU TRANSFORM YOUR SPICA LIKE A BRICK

    For english manual thanks Commando

Because of some confusion between LK2.xx & LkMod I decided to rename LkMod to SamdroidMod (SdM).

    CHANGELOG

What you get in my version:
    - Latest Kernel LK2.03.3
--- cifs now included as a module
--- additional modules (tun.ko, cifs.ko) do not load automatically. (look SamdroidTools)
    --- speaker volume increased
--- apps2sd is disabled by default, even if you have second partition (turn on via SamdroidTools)
--- apps2sd moves dalvik-cache to SD, freeing internal memory, decreasing performance, but not significantly. (turn on via SamdroidTools, description below)

    - This firmware is based on mix of JCE and JCF
    - Deodexed (MetaMorph is working, and installing of own themes is allowed)
    - Resigned
    - Zipalign 4
    - Nexus Launcher2
    - Phone.apk from XDA (vibrate on connection/disconnection)
    - YouTube HD
    - Latest Google Maps (4.1.1)
    - New Samdroid logo (thanks to jaredi)
    - New boot animation Win7_Nexus (thanks to MUGHALGXT)
    - Large APN list (if your operator is not in it, please write me, it will be added in next version)
    - GenieWidget.apk
    - Live wallpapers + Nexus live wallpapers
    - Samdroid Tools (description below)

    New logo and boot animation

    Installation:
Please read carefully and complete each step

    Warning!
1.At least you must have installed LK2.02 + update, any Android 2.1 firmware (it will be completely replaced by SamdroidMod)
2.If you have had installed SamdroidMod firmware all your data must be saved, in other cases, device can have problems with booting (endless rebooting, or do not boot at all), to fix this enter Recovery, select Wipe → Wipe data/cache.
    3. While you should use as a 2 partitions on the SD only ext2
    4. If you had already used apps2sd, we strongly recommend reformat 2 nd partition on SD card

    - Download this: SamdroidMod-1_0_3-update.zip (77.84 MB)
    - Place it in root of your SD card.
    - Reboot to Recovery and select “Apply any zip” -> SamdroidMod-1_0_2-update.zip
First booting will last long time, especially between logo and boot animation, don't be afraid, just wait. BUT! It's not normal, if booting lasts more than 5 minutes.
    - One more reboot

    Samdroid Tools

I have written a program to control different 'spare parts' of the mod.
Today this program can a little, but will be improved in the future.

    Reboot
Ability to reboot i5700 & reboot to Recovery.

    3.png 4.png

    Backup/Restore
Ability to make a backup of user's programs to SD /data/app & /data/app-private -> /sdcard/samdroidtools/app,app-private and then restore them back, you can use it for disabling Apps2sd, i.e. backup first, then disable apps2sd, reboot, then restore and reboot.

    Modules
Allows you to control which modules will load, and if you will active a module, it will be loaded immediately, without need for reboot.

    7.png

    And....
    Apps2SD
    apps2sd controls:
SD card – shows, how many free is space available at SD card for programs (2nd partition)
Internal storage – make a copy of information from Settings, and shows how many free space available at i5700 internal memory.
Apps2sd settings – controls only of apps2sd enabling, or + moving of dalvik-cache.

    5.png

And I want to show amount of internal memory with:
    1. apps2sd is disabled 2. apps2sd is enabled 3. additionally dalvik-cache is moved to SD

Glad you changed the name of your mod. I was one of those who confused with your kernel and mod

    Great job!!

    Hmm.

So i flashed JCF with odin.
Then i installed your kernel + update 2.02.1
And then i installed this mod with the update function.
It started ok. Logo is visible. The the boot animation.
But after a while the boot animation just turns to black. And then the screen stays black. And has been for 15 minutes now.
    Nothing happens.

    EDIT:
    Clearing data/cache did the trick.

    EDIT2:
Rebooted after doing some settings etc.
Now it's back to that black screen problem again...

Is there any way to decrease the volume? Just like in original firmware.
