Question Compass Problem on Nexus s

I know there is no section for the Nexus s but at last I really dont know where else to ask for help with a direct connection to all the great developers on this board.
All my issue is about the compass of the nexus s, it reminds me heavy on my spica when compass was way off the chart pointing at random directions befor it was fixed, long story short its absolutely unusable.
This Problem is out since January and either Google nor the Cyanogen Team was able to solve that Problem, there is absolutely no success in solving that problem.
Tried several things like calibrating the compass but also with no success.
So this is my last attempt getting rid of that nasty problem asking you devs for help.

Compass heading is off by cca 15deg. Suggested 8-Figure calibration has no effect. Magnetic correction has no effect (Skymaps). Makes apps like Skymaps, Layar, Wikitude And any compass useless. I had no chance to compare this to another device so I can't say if it's just my device or maybe a firmware/Nexus S or Gingerbread issue. It kind of spoils the otherwise awesome device (being a top model and all). Device: Nexus S Carrier:Vodafone Country / Language: Czech Republic OS / Browser / build number (if applicable): Android 2.3.3
