Running smooothly, just had to apply the 3G/EDGE Speed Optimization tweak and now I have the best ROM I ever had

BUT: I keep having the 3G/H switching issue

Whenever I try to access the internet, the network type indicator does the following:

3G > Tries to upload something for 1s, changes do H
H > Does nothing, back to 3G
3G > Tries again, goes to H
H > Does nothing, back to 3G

It does that for like 30 seconds and then, SOMETIMES, it just begin to work

I never had this with any 2.2 ROM and it's the only issue I have with any 2.1

Awesome work. After playing around with froyo, and getting increasingly frustrated gonna give this a whirl, at least till I get my new phone in 2 months time.

After 1 year, i will try to back to eclair from froyo 2.2.2....so sad....hope soon i could using phone that support ICS , thanks Ares.....

I have a weird problem with my SPICA.
Till the time I was on 2.1 stock firmware I didn't had this problem but when I flashed with this Ultimate Eclair 1.1, if I do not use the phone for some hours (eg. at night) the phone looks fine but goes to some kind of sleep mode itself - which means it does not receive calls or sms. It comes 'alive' again once I send out some msg or run some USSD code.
The problem is intermittent and does not happen everyday but it's becoming very annoying as people are not able to reach me and generally I get many msgs which are delivered together once it comes back alive.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

My phone is:
