    Question Flash Spica from VirtualBox

See, I use LINUX, but i need to flash my spica so, instead of getting a windows partition, i was wondering if i could safely flash my spica from a virtual system.
I use VirtualBox.. I want to know if any of you guys already tried this, and if it is safe...... what do you think?

Providing it has USB device support enabled, I fail to see why it wouldn't.

I'm not sure it would be a brilliant idea but it may work. IIRC Virtualbox open source edition (in the Ubuntu repos) doesn't support USB so the non open source edition has to be downloaded from the Virtualbox website.

Should be no problems as USB support is included in a separate extension pack. Just download and apply it.

VirtualBox has very good USB passthrough under Linux, I flashed sony-ericsson k750/w800 and k800 several times this way and all flashes were successfull.
I'd use older build though- from 3.x series, I didn't test usb functions on 4.x
    Code:
    setprop persist.world.domination 1

    But progress bar is progressing?
Don't know if Virtualbox uses USB 1.1 or 2.0
    Code:
    setprop persist.world.domination 1

Factory.rfs happens on normal windows too. Its not always brick at this point. AFAIK you just have to try again.
