Exclamation HELP Phone always starts in download mode

    Hi
my spica has a problem as soon as i start it by default it starts in Download mode,
I tried going back to android 2.1 via odin. the phone started but as soon i removed the battery later and restart it again goes to download mode and i cannot use my phone at all all i see is the download mode.
I tried the three step flash guide the os boots and works but when ever i remove my battery and start the phone it is stuck as download mode.
Even when i don't remove the battery and power off the phone the phone doesn't power off but reboot
    My phone keys are ok

    Please help

    hi,
    just dropping my ideas:
    1. why don't you leave the battery in the phone? sd card and sim are accessible without removing them.
    2. you may work this around by attaching the charger as this normally prevents the device from entering the download mode.
    3. you could flash a 2.1 release that was officially published by samsung four your device (contry dependend!). when i got you right, you're able to boot the phone once after a fresh flashing. so let it boot and immediately try to update to official 2.1-update1 via kies. maybe kies has a more complex flash routine that might repair something that you currupted while flashing.

    just my 2 cents.

    regards, andy.

    Hi Andy
If nothing works out my plan is going to be not remove the battery..
I never knew that device cannot enter download mode if connected to a charger In case i remove the battery i will try that.
I tried flashing to to official 2.1 update 1 ddjc5 firmware using odin that didn't work, i even tried debug and pda format option but still same thing if i remove the battery.
Now i flashed to 2.1 update 1 official firmware rooted and using CM 8.3.2 when i powered off the phone did not remove battery and tried to switch it on i got the download mode again i removed battery and powered on phone booted normally
    can't understand the problem,
Also even though phone was connected to charger it went to download mode.
