How to access GT-I5700 SD card via USB cable?

Hi,

How do you people access the SD card of the I5700 via USB cable?
I also cant access it via Samsung's New PC Studio and via KIES.
It is also not possible to access it via File Explorer, Total Commander, Etc...
Is there any altenative software to access the SD card without putting it out the device?

The Mass Storage driver is installed under USB-controllers.

Can anyone help me?

You don't need kies or NPS if you want to access just the Storage, Simply connect your mobile to your PC using USB Cable bundled with the unit and on your phone simply drag the notifications bar down and select USB Connected then Click Mount. You're good to go. Cheers!

Nope it want!!!

I can see drive letter I: but i cant access it.
Mabe it's a faulty driver i dont now but i just dont work

Do i have to Enable something in the phone to have this function?

Have you try that, I think it will always work if USB connected shown

I just want to update this thread.

I needed the Samsung installation CD, there where USB drivers on it but was not possiible to install them without installing New PC Studio first.

This is what i have done to let it work:
1. De-install New PC Studio by clicking install at the installation CD. (i think there was something damaged by the first install)
2. Re-install New PC Studio.
3. Install the USB drivers from the installation CD.
Connect the USB cable and now the computer see the i5700.
At the Spica drag the notifications bar down and tip on Mount USB and all was functional even in New PC Studio and KIES.

I have windows 7 and I have the same problem.....I mount sd card on my mobile but on PC when I click to drive letter there is no connection....

u have to switch on usb debugging, pull down your notification bar, and choose to mount your sd card.

it will appear as a removable drive on your system. I'm using win 7 (32 bit no problem).

This, is assuming you have all the proper drivers installed.

I have same problem.. I can't copy nothing to my sd card .. I Root card (http://www.londatiga.net/it/sa...hing-guide/) but when I start to Install Samdroid Mod 1.o.3, i can't copy it LK2-02-1_update.zip to root of sdcard (/sdcard) ..also I can't copy nothing to Sd card

its a windows problems... sometime it happens to my phone too... just delete a drivers thru control panel... it helps me, or u can use a wifi browser if u need to download smth from ye card

U know... in Kies it's shows as removable drive ... and u can't copy nothing in it... also in program manager when u open removable disk .. it says that u mast insert the disk >)

win xp sp3
