    I haven't been really following this since the initial releases, and I have a little question: does EXT4 on DATA prevent boot loops and corruption? Or shit ends up happening like in the initial release with EXT2 on DATA, only later?

    Yes, EXT4 will prevent such things.

    *sigh*
    I am just against the 100 post.

    @Beje: It suppose to prevent it (Because of journaling is enabled with EXT4)

    Thanks! I wasn't in the mood of checking hundreds of pages. Looks like EXT4 is good enough, and not just a temporary patch that only delayed the unavoidable as I feared. Now I just have to wait until we have propper support in CM6's Recovery :P

    i want to apply this lagfix, but i dont know is it stable enough for day to day use, since i only have one phone for my primary use.....(but i do want speed improvement on my spica, not a higher quadrant score)

    is there anyone who tested this lagfix for maybe 1 week for stability?

    @ribbon:
    Give this try,
    eremount rw
    or
    mount -t ext4 -o rw /dev/stl6 /system

    change ext4/ext3/ext2 as your system.

    Thanks, do you mean i must convert /system to ext2 or ext3 or ext4, ah i see in Xmister script the command like yours.
    Is "mount -t extx -o rw /dev/xyz /abc" effect to convert abc (xyz) to extx format?

    Thanks gain!
