i5700 sound issue problems (cracks, pops)

I searched the forum and i didnt found the answer and appropriate topic -

Me and few of my friends having Spica, we are experiencing problems with bad sound quality - each mp3 played by system player or other players like meridian or cubed has some pops, or cracks in different moment of playing.
It sound very simillar to old vinyl/LP records.
Also on the speaker i have those cracks not only on headphones.
I had this issue on 1.5 on 2.1 clean software, and also on SM1.2 LK 206b3 and 207b1.
I think its an software problem because more of those sounds appear when Spica is using 3G or Wifi or if its heavy loaded. Some of my friends get rid of this by installing new kernel from LK but for me it doesnt work, also in one case two of my pals get rid of it doing nothing on the phone - it just disappeared one day..

Or you think its a hardware problem and i have to take my mobile to the service? (I really doubt)


Any ideas whats wrong with this phone? Because its really annoying and i cant listen to music at all

hey, i have bought spica with 1.5, installed 2.1 software, then installed samdroidmod and i dont have these annoying cracks, all songs sounds good, with earphones or even from speaker. so maybe its some kind of spoilage/reject, cause samsung isnt so good firm

what exact versions you have?
cause on samdroid 1.2 and kernel LK 2.07b1. from kitchen i still have those and as ixodium up said its rather still unsolved.

Exactly same problem here with me. I thought this problem oss just with me.please give us a solution. Its really annoying.i dont listen too music that much but when ever a call is recived, these sounds are annoying me alot.

Don`t use standart music player.. with meridian player I have no cracks and pops.

I think no one now. Leshak has worked on this problem (look 2nd post link) but for me this patch doesnt work.

Btw. at this screen *#0228# I've got escalation of this cracks, they are all the time, chceck this out and write if that happens to you too. And its another strange thing about this phone - why actually on this screen it happens? It doesnt use cpu as it was sad to cause that problem. Weird..
