    Default Is my spica dying?

I'm using Spicagenmod beta 2.1 and every few days, everything just goes to hell. Endless loops, Settings wizard on boot, FC on every app, and so on. Data/cache wipe won't help, only ODIN flash. Is there any explanation for this or is my Spica simply dying?

Reformat your BML partitions. Do all the three flashes exactly as in this howto: Samsung I5700 Galaxy Spica Android 2.1 Flashing Guide | All About Web & Mobile Application Development

tom3q, thanks for reply. This is the exact procedure I do every time when I get errors (except that that I install LK2.08 instead older version and skip custom logo). But that has been only happening in past few weeks, before that I never had to flash with ODIN.

Including all the special bits, like PDA format selected and BOOT file specified?

It doesn't have anything to do with "beta". Beta it's just a name in this case.

It looks to me more like corruption of STL partitions. Maybe you are trying to put too much data on /data partition? It's recommended to keep some space free, because of STL bugs.

Yes tom3q, I checked it several times that the options from tutorial were the same as mine. In case of last crash, which was few hours ago, I managed to fixed it by reapplying Spicagenmod2 (no data/cache wipe needed) so I could boot, reinstalled Titanium Backup (because all apps except system are FC) and then did full restore of backup. Everything seems to work fine now, except some google apps (Gmail, Maps, Latitude...). I hope this method will work in future because it's much faster, but it's annoying as well.

Regarding to free space, Titanium says:
System ROM: 202 MB (80.8 free)
    Internal: 152 MB (71.3 free)
SD card: 6.72 GB (1.91 free)
    SD card (a2sd): 959 MB (593 free)

Maybe you need to unbrick your phone? I mean using JTag, etc...
Full flash memory cleaning and unbricking should help but I dunno what does tom3q think about it.

Is there any way that we can recreate partitions without jtag? or make a full clean to every partitions? I think that I have some problems with my cache... some apps can not be downloaded (even with .cache folder on sd card...)
