New Battery for my GT-i5700

My original battery is broke and running very shortly.
I wonder about the choice of a new battery.
I found the batteries increased.
But I do not know whether it will work as it should.

my opinion is test your battery in many roms, so maybe you are in x rom and have problems only with this rom.

I have CyanogenMod-7.2-NIGHTLY-Spica-alpha7.2. It is very good ROM.
My battery is bad and I know about it.
I still have a phone with the same battery and whose fault is checked.

Well, most of 3rd party replacement batteries are usually worse than the original one, even if it's said to have bigger capacity. Most of them (or maybe even all) also can't be charged when the phone is powered off, as they don't pass the security check of the boot loader (which isn't performed by the kernel driver, when Android is running).

I'm not sure about the battery you linked. It isn't cheap and is said to be made in Japan, but still, is it really possible to put almost two times the capacity in a battery of the same size?

I had 4000mAh battery in my nokia 6630 Haha, everything is possible ^^.
I bought this battery but not from this user POJEMNA BATERIA Samsung i5700 Galaxy Spica + FOLIA (1995787492) - Aukcje internetowe Allegro
It works. Unfortunatly you cant charge it with phone turned off so you have to pay attention not to discharge it completly.
I guess its not so easy to mod bootloader to allow this...

Only 16zł.. Worth a try. Even I would buy it now as a second one. I have 1600mAh. Of course original is better but this is like 5 times cheaper.
