I was wondering if there is any way to send text messages through Odin with the galaxy spica?

WTF? What do you mean? ODIN is a software for flashing the phone!! that is like asking your modem to make you a sandwich... it makes no sense... unless there is some software called odin for this purposes.... explain yourself, please....

yes, sorry my bad. I confused Odin with this :P.
I meant Samsungs New Pc Studio or Kies. But I wasnt able to make the connection with my phone :S.

There is no direct way with NPS or Kies but there are some apps which allow you to send message via the PC.
