Problem: Change proxy on Android 2.1 WiFi

Hi all

This problem face a lot of people not just me.
I have connected with my university WiFi network with out problem but internet is behind proxy so i cant browse internet or connect to internet because there is no sitting on android to fix.

I used many ideas like apps and programing but no result.

so any body can help me on this ??????

My college also provides internet through wireless networks behind proxy. the default browser and all the ones found in the market don't have the setting to change proxy. its really irritating not to have an option.I have searched many forums but none have the solution.. hope leshak solves it.

Cyanogen mod 6.2 has the settings for changing the Proxy and it works falwlessly for browser!!
