I've applied this patch on the following configuration: LK2.09.5(MT v 2.3) + DVM ARM11 optimized
During start ups and at other random times, I was having errors like "The application is not working: Wait/Block" (I don't remember exactly the test).
Most of the times the error was caused by system process.

The good news is that after applying this patch, the error stopped showing, and the Spica is working well. I think that the problem was connected to the low space on /data partition.
    Can someone confirm?

It would be a good idea to include it in the future releases of the ROMs as an option during cooking or, even better, in Samdroid Tools.

Just remove /system/sd/userinit.sh. Dalvik-cache is created in /data/ (default place) during each boot.
