well, by jove, this is exactly what i've done. but unfortunately, i get bootlocked , with progress bar at full just standing there. tried it with both FE7b9 and FE9b1, over kitchen with and without optimized arm. same thing.tried wiping cache and delvik, no go. tried booting without sd card, no go.
only thing that puts my phone on the line after such failures is a odin flash from a backup i've made before.
so, please, any advice on that? i'm going nutsi've been trying this for the last 3 days
also, as a side effect, now i'm having 35-37 degrees celsius by default,no browsing, games or anything( before that was lot less)

I had some bootlocks with FE and the thing is, wiping the regular cache doesn't help, wiping the dalvik cache doesn't help, you need to do the factory reset, have you tried that?
Where's antibyte?

Antibyte.. I have a big ISSUE in my phone, that left me without any kind of sounds. I tried rebooting, wiping everything, and reflashing everything again, starting from original XXJH6 onwards, to no avail. Problem is still there. I think the problem started one time I tried to change the SMS ringtone to a MP3 that I pushed to audio/notifications folder.
This is what I get in logcat everytime I try to play a sound of any kind:
In XDA they explained it this way:Code:W/AudioTrack( 1021): obtainBuffer timed out (is the CPU pegged?) 0x39078 user=00005c80, server=00005280
So, it supposedly is an issue related to kernel, but I've tried many times to change kernel, trying with FE9beta1, FE7beta9, TurboKernel V10 + SFUV, Leshak's 2.09.6 kernel, and without any of these and problem is allways there..The issue is caused by audio drivers in the kernel not resetting. we do not have the source for .29 kernel so there is no fix. we dont know why this effects some people and not others. cyanogen has worked on the issue and he does not have fix. many other forums have reported this issue with no fix. i chatted with a google engineer and he does not have fix. there is no fix that we know of except replacing the kernel with an older version that works. in this case i have used the ones from the ALPHA RUU from sprint and the eris kernel that was made by flipz. Since the audio drivers do not reset it does not allow anything to read them. so it continues resetting and resetting and this causes the cpu to be pegged by the constant retry and retry.
Is there a way you could take a look at this and see if a fix could be included in futute kernels?
I seem to be the only one with this issue here at samdroid but I hope people don't start having it.
Thank you very much!
