Screen doesn't work

I'm having a serious issue right now. My screen won't work. I've tried flashing to the original ROM through Odin and that didn't help. The backlight works, but nothing is displayed.

Can someone help me out with some way to make it work?

hmmm i did hav tht issue many times...but it goes away by rebooting the phone...in yr situation i guess you gota flash it to the original android 2.1 from samfirmware or android 1.5 then flashing it with a ROM....i hope u get a better solution from other ppl here...gd luck

Download a original firm from samfirmware :-)

When flashing, do you correctly see Download Mode, or is the screen blank then too?

I'm afraid this sounds like a hardware failure. I'm on my third Spica now, one of the failures was like yours-the LCD controller failed. Are you still under warranty?

I've had the phone for 10 months, so yes, it's still in warranty.
