This theme causes a bootloop. Installing another theme fixes this. (using 2.1 from samdroid kitchen)
Does this theme even work? What rom can this theme be installed on?

Problem solved. This theme only works with samdroid kitchen with chinese base package.

And to answer your questions, not 2.2.

To add on, this theme is great!
Pity there are quite a number of glitches: The notification bar's bottom is too thick, bottom half of windows are still default android's, and notification's date is not translucent (apparently can't be fixed anyway)
