• Deodexed firmware, you can apply themes etc
• Root via su+Superuser 2.3.5
• Working recovery
• Ability to select only those components that you want (the size of the firmware from 72MB to 140MB)

How to install SamdroidMod

1. You need to flash an original I9000XXJPC through KIES or Odin


2.1 If you already have a working Recovery,
example, my way ( Root (Superuser 2.3.5) + working Recovery for i9000XXJPC (Froyo) ) then:

• Select in the kitchen all you want
• Click 'Cook' & download SamdroidMod_(xxx)_update.zip
• Rename it to update.zip and put to the root of the SD Card
• Turn off phone
• Press vol_up + home + on to enter to Recovery
• Apply sdcard:update.zip

phone reboot automatically after install mod



2.2 If you don't have a working Recovery

• Select in the kitchen all you want
• Click 'Cook' & download SamdroidMod_(xxx)_update.zip
• Rename it to update.zip and put to the root of the SD Card
• Download this file Root_for_i9000_JPC.7z
• Unpack
• Run Odin with Auto Reboot UN-checked, loading the i9000_Kernel.tar as PDA
• Put the phone into download mode and flash the i9000 Kernel.
• Pull the battery. reboot into recovery mode and flash the update.zip
• Pull the battery again, reboot into download mode again.
• Run Odin with Auto Reboot checked, loading the I9000XXJPC_KERNEL.tar as PDA
• reboot.
