Could you please give some suggestion on howto use those opensource files..

Could you please give me some suggestion on how to use them.
I download those source files from Samsung website and also download AOSP from google repo. I've learn to compile the kernel & android src code but still confusing on howto merge with the samsung's src code.
I guess, I need the Samsung i9000 Vender folder? but I (still) couldn't found it, by googling. I found website gaosp, which is I think those instruction was for Spica
My goal is to apply the patch of libwebcore.so, that resolving a focus ring problem on the browser, that display my language (Thai)

With Android source from Samsung I had a lot of problems

inside the kernel zip file ...
extract GalaxyS_Kernel file I got 2 folder :-
- linux-2.6.29
- modules
I learned how to compile those in linux-* folder but not sure what/how do with modules folder.
Could you give me a suggestion or guide me,where I can find howto do with it.
Sorry, if this disturbing you.
(I had googling, search for the question but found nothing that might be my answer.

Can you provide an other link this one is dead. I really want to create custom rom for galaxy S. I have made roms for htc magic and htc desire. But with samsung it's really different.
