SGS battery issues

I have noticed that the battery of SGS drains much faster that it should, and what's more, the USB charging is so poor that it's practically useless.. I put my phone on charging from a 15 percent battery at night before sleeping, and in 6 hours it only went to 48% when I woke up. The device also heats up a lot. any suggestions/ideas?

in part of case problem in software working in background mode.
and part-time program compatibility with a particular firmware version.
i have problem like this with "missed reminder" on firmware JPC.
on JP3, JM5 - no problem

And also you should note that USB output mA is less then original charger, so charging via USB should take more time.
