[Dev] Android 2.2 Froyo for Samsung i5700 Alpha.3 [+Audio(Speaker)+MT] [27.08.2010]
WARNING: THIS METHOD CAN BE DANGEROUS. DON’T DO ANYTHING IF YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU DO.
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU TRANSFORM YOUR SPICA INTO A BRICK
You need to have LK2.xx with Recovery for install Froyo!
Backup your data before install this alpha1.1
Work:- Screen
- Touch
- Multitouch
- Audio - ONLY FROM Speaker (+can't control volume!)
- Keys (but for unlock use "turn on/off" key!)
- GSM - (no sound yet), but you call
, and send/recv SMS - GPRS/EDGE/3G (you can add your APNs manualy)
- Vibrate
- SD card / USB Mass Storage (thanks to mik_os)
- Wifi (thanks to golecpch)
- Google services (tested: GMail, Market, Contacts, Calendar)
Don't work:- Audio +/1
SD cardWifi- Bluetooth
- GPS
- Sensors
- Camera
How to install
1. Download: i5700_Froyo_alpha-3_update.zip (61.61 MB)
2. Put it to SD card
3. Enter to Recovery
4. Apply i5700_Froyo_alpha-3_update.zip
5. Wipe data & cache!
6. Reboot (in the process of booting the phone may reboot a few (2-5) times, do not worry, wait)
7. Play

After you set apn, you need to restart phone...

Done it...working gr8...though took more than 6 reboots to initialize and i had to hold my breath as if it would initialize or not but it did....and to say its appearing really superb.....
