Looks like the driver is on the right way, there are some improvements and some new bugs.
A few things I noticed in the 2nd demo:
my paper plane 2: If you catch a star a shadow of the paper plane appears for a second. Maybe some kind of effect. The score looks like every second pixel was transparent. Feels a bit smoother than before, if that is possible
opengl demos: fog works now
an3dbench: multitexturing looks different, slower, I think it is right this time (looked a lot like single texturing before), the light sources have no effect on the globe, I think they should have. game level has lighting and fog now, textures (only solid colors before) are there but look washed out or extremely magnified, slower (probably because more things work)
raging thunder: shadow under the cars is fixed, there is a strange pattern on the textures, menu background is black
raging thunder 2: cars still without texture, wrong textures for some objects, menu is good and there were some effects in the game
wave blazers: black screen (backlight still on) after sound selection. Home key is slow but works.

with 3rd demo:
an3dbench: multitexturing looks even better; high object count is with color now, lighting works, too; high polygon count is now blue instead of white (it should be); game level is a bit faster, textures are better
raging thunder: texture problem is fixed, looks great now, except the menus
raging thunder 2: street texture is right (except one place - i think it is a bridge), exhaust effects and sparks work, cars are bright white; maybe a bit too much for our spica

dont know about rt2, but in skies of glory white textures because driver cant allocate enough memory.

if test 4 comes out and its better i think im going to test that 1
if it fixes some thinks like blackscreen etc and wierd lines around bootscreen. nice progress

on test 3 toonwarz dont start, i got a blackscreen (phone not freeze), waveblazer have problems too (i have seen an polarbit logo for an second, and yes or no keys (propably for sound), then black screen, psx4droid still dont work,mystique ch1:foetus works well , but a bit slower than test1 , tank recon 3d have problems (missing textures like white floor).
and if it help, i use samdroidmod (from kitchen) with samdroid turbo kernel and frozen eclair libs v5
and tux rider gets max 6fps(minimal 3 ,average 4,5) , (with normal driver gets 5,5 max fps) on high quality graphics settingsLast edited by kolbooc; 08-04-2010 at 12:19 AM.

ye but toonwarz is just unplayable without multitouch and high fps

Google skymap now has colors and looks normal, was only black and white with missing stuff the last time i tried

there is an easy way to install it via recovery, download newdriver.zip from post #339 and libGLESv1_CM_fimg.rar then copy libGLESv1_CM_fimg.so from libGLESv1_CM_fimg.rar to /system/lib/egl (replace with existing file) in newdriver.zip , apply modified newdriver.zip package via recovery mode, that should work.
