Its the same level of increased volume as Kernel 2.05. Anything more will cause the sound to crack.

Question Problem with the "Superuser Whitelist"

    Hello LeshaK,

Thanks for continuing this lightweight mod. However, I have a slight problem with the "Superuser Whitelist" app. I have an app that keeps requesting root permissions but neither needs them nor should have them. Unfortunately, the current whitelist only has an "always" button, but not a "never". And after clicking "no" on the dialog, I have to start the application a second time, which gets annoying after a while.

I was wondering if you had had a look at an improved superuser whitelist from ChainsDD at xda-developers. It lists the applications in a cleaner way and allows to save both allowed and denied privileges. I tried replacing Superuser.apk with this one (it brings its own 'su' binary), but it seems that somewhere in your mod, a different activity is called. And I don't have the insight into your mod to make the necessary changes.

    Best regards,
    lcg

I had some problems with the whole su (command & apk)
I ended up installing the one from XDA developers. (package link for i5700 is in my previous post quoted below)

On trying to use su on adb I got an error
Also no applications can be given root priveleges

So I ended up installing the new su from here
I can now use droidwall etc and give apps root access.

Another problem seemed to be with the htc_ime from the kitchen, it was just crashing all the time (not even showing) so I had to create a patch zip to remove it and installed the latest version from xda-developers.

Other than those problems it seems ok

    I also removed:
    Gallery.apk
    wssyncmlnps.apk
    MyFiles.apk
    Pantheon.apk
    BluetoothIcon.apk
    WifiIcon.apk
    HTC_IME_lo.apk
    Clicker.apk
    SamdroidTools.apk
    Phone: Samsung Galaxy i5700
    SOC: SGM Nextgen (Froyo)
Me: github // relocate dalvik to /cache

Try to install via recovery this (su 2.1 from ChainsDD repacked by me for LechaK's kernel), should work.
