As far as I know, app2sd is automatically enabled on that build. As far as you've got SD card partitioned all apps will be installed to SD card instead to phone memory. At least I didn't have to do anything else than that and it works!

Enable qpps2sd from samdroid tools and reboot.

У меня в recovery при попытке восстановить ранее созданный TAR Backup Data вылезает надпись "Restoring................................... E: Can't extract tar file Backup_20100902-113241_Data.tar".
Что делать? У меня же там все настройки и личные данные сохранены!
Подозреваю что ему не хватает памяти устройства для распаковки. Но я и так уже сделал полный вайп и поставил чистую прошивку.

(this is a double post from the helpdesk thread, but since that has already gone 5+ pages forward, and since this is most probably better related to this thread, re-posting here with edits and a Russian TL;DR)

    Hello there.

I am having a little problem with adb in recovery, which seems to be supposed to be there as functionality.

    My specs are:
    • Original 2.1 Nordic firmware (I570EXXJCF)
    • LK2.08 Odin package installed onto it.
    • LK2.09.5 package installed in order to update Superuser application and to get the newest kernel. I make my own kernel builds as well, but in this case I am using Leshak's kernel build to make sure adb not working is not my doing.
    • Recovery version is 0.5.2 (LK based on CM v1.4 + JF by Leshak)
In other words, I can use adb completely fine during normal boots and the USB Mass Storage feature works perfectly in recovery. I see no other problems. 'adb devices' shows absolutely nothing while the phone is in recovery. Tested on a Ubuntu 10.04 netbook as well as a Windows 7 64bit laptop.

Anyone has an idea why I am missing this feature? Has there been an update to Spica's recovery which I've missed?

    Thank you in advance.

    TL;DR In Russian:

При нормальном включении adb работает прекрасно, но в recovery -- нет. Пробовал на нескольких ПК итд. итп.

    EDIT:

Installed the ext2-supporting kernel from antibyte, suddenly it works... What is this, I don't even... I have no idea why it didn't work with Leshak's or my own kernels (LK2.09.5, for example).
