Type "mount" command in terminal or "adb shell" and post the output here.

I have very less space available in '/cache' folder around 5MB, but '/data' has around 57MB available!!

Is there anyway I can free up space in /cache, so I can install more apps ?

    Code:
    # df -h

Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
    tmpfs 80.6M 12.0K 80.6M 0% /dev
    tmpfs 4.0M 0 4.0M 0% /sqlite_stmt_journals
    tmpfs 80.6M 0 80.6M 0% /mnt/asec
    /dev/stl6 196.3M 133.1M 63.2M 68% /system
    /dev/stl5 147.1M 89.7M 57.4M 61% /data
    /dev/stl7 76.5M 67.3M 5.2M 93% /cache
    /dev/stl10 7.5M 778.5K 6.8M 10% /efs
    /dev/bml8 3.8M 3.8M 0 100% /xbin
    /dev/stl7 76.5M 67.3M 5.2M 93% /data/dalvik-cache

yeap, only thing you can do is to move dalvik to sd card...
    and try to clear cache...

i've read 1st post but im little lost(and have problems with missing words) so just ask:
It is safe to install this mod on FEv8b3 with app2sd included, system is on ext2 filesystem?
BTW(know it is wrong thread, pm plx) i got some apps installed, i like them, is any safe method with replacing sd card with something bigger/faster(like 20/20Mb r/w)?
Or i just must wipe all again...

so I just did the following:

flashed with Odin to JH6 fw, installed Samdroid Turbo V8, Samdroid 1.3.1d, FE7, enabled Apps2SD and copied userinit.sh to /system/sd, (cache changed to dalvik-cache successfully), converted /system to ext2.

now I installed a LOT of apps using the sync from Appbrain, now my dalvik-cache is full...with 416k left, and I can't install anything more.

...does anyone know what I should do? :$

and one thing that should be mentioned in the first post is that: to remove this mod, just delete userinit.sh from /system/sd, reboot phone and delete /cache/dalvik-cache

only those people should delete who have used the userinit.sh from the zip file, those who have edited can obviously just remove the concerned part from their files.
