SamsungCamera orientation saving fix

How to apply this fix to resigned version? Any ideas?

You can try to remove /system/app/SamsungCamera.odex before applying this update.

My original camera apk is 5500kb, this patched one is 47xx kb. Why is it so small?

This is because apk I'm using is from JE1 firmware. But difference is just in resources, nothing to be worry about.

the brigness function and scene function in camera can not work

if I take photo with samsung camera ( potrait position ) and after that, I share via facebook. orientation doesn't fix, but on 3DGallery is OK

Yup......i aggree with varenzo.......it also happend when i transfered potrait photo to other device, its still wrong position.....
But landscape photo just ok.....
Any one have same problem??

Give it a try......
At my phone after apply kitchen v2 that problem happend, then i try update zip from that page on samdroid turbo, it fixed.....

BTW...what diferen Samdroid and Frozen Eclair ?

Use zip update only. Patch file is for developers.

this doesnt make the camera write the orientation into the exif. it only corrects orientation for the GALLERY3D app only

Disagree, EXIF info is correctly saved, just tested with a few images I took just now, viewed exif info with irfanview .exif plugin, images also were dispalyed with the correct orientation .
