i've been update my spica from beta 4.1 to beta 5.7. after rebooting, i have problem with recovery mode, my spica display changed into multiple display.. it's been 4 displays. how to fix it? please help me..

apply another kernel in recovery . . it is problem of kernel . . you can apply yonip 3d or frozen lake or voku 2.8 . . you will find these in development thread . .

any one there . . how to add remove apps from custom rom . . and how many apps can we addi opened the zip file with 7zip and opened system/apps . . i deleted few apps from the list and add another few to the list . . then closed 7zip and copied the zip to sd card to apply in recovery . . all went fine . . now the problem is that some apps are missing which i have added while some of them are present and working . . is my method wrong or what

Suggestion: do this, use ES Explorer to remove and add apps to sistem/app giving Su permissions in ES Explorer settings... or apps2Rom (Market and free, and updated)

At this moment, the spicagenmod is really nice. Only I have a recommendation voku, please remove The QQ Player is to much BIG!!!! (The CodeScanner is not problem)

You can remove it yourself. Just open the zip file, go to system/app and remove the apks you don't want. Save the zip file and apply in recovery. Simple

thanks . . its new for me that ES file explorer can modify system files . . will give that a try . . and i have used app2rom . . ya its seems nice but the problem i got with it . that after doing factory reset . . some of files were not working which i have moved with app2rom . . so that's why i tried to modify the zip in computer . . anyway thanks . .

Hello Voku, hello community,

I purchased an app, it is the Call Master. It is really good and makes my workdays better but I have a problem.
When a call come and dropped by Call Master the kjournald in OS monitor shows 2 instance, one run at 60%
and another one run at 30%.. therefore the battery drops down from 100% to 0% in a half day.. I tried several
other app like this and all shows the same. Do anybody have an idea why kjournald can run at 100%? All my
partitions are ext2. If I kill these processes phone hangs.

i think 5.7 is stable . . as there are no major complaints except recovery which is fixed with flashing another kernel . . so its time to do something for hw video . . now miui is open and its source is available . . it might be helpful for devs . . with hw video this rom will be perfect . . so voku please consider it if you can do it . . thanks for your mice work

Is there a correct procedure to be followed when installing Voku kernel 2.8 once you've installed SGM beta 5.7??? Or just after the installation of SGM beta 5.7 and the subsequent restart required to go 3-4 in recovery and install Voku kernel 2.8?

special thanx to lars for keeping this running. sold my spica today and it´s a shame samsung will not keep this thing updated, even though the hardware seems to be capable of all things you want form an entertainment center. it is really not a psp or gameboy or something but who wants it to be. keep up the good work and make a final version and get to rest. thanx for your work. danke voku, dass du einige hundert leute an deinem updatewahn hast teihaben lassen - saubere arbeit (bis auf diese boot-geschichte im 4.2)

1. install SGM 5.7 and Voku kernel 2.8 via recovery mode together and restart,
2. update Voku kernel 2.8 after install SGM 5.7
but the first step is better, because without split recovery mode...it's my step :-)
