I've made a test with RedDevil and it didn't work either. I think themes have a problem right now, if some theme tech-geek can have a look and tell me what's wrong in the package I make it would be greatI don't know what's happening, I'm simply copying the files from the original packages in /system, like the original package do.
maybe in nightly builds framework-res.apk is changed everytime, so themes made for older framework dont work (only my thoughts about this)
i´m also quite sure that it´s just a different framework-res.apk in the nightly builds ...
in CyanogenMod Last Release (alpha7.3.1) most of the actual themes should work, also in your kitchen ...
i would suggest to put a warning in your kitchen, just to use themes when selecting CyanogenMod Last Release (alpha7.3.1) ...
so everything should be compatible ...
for nightly builds you could use themeporter, but i don´t know if it´s possible to include in your kitchen![]()

Thanks for letting me know about this, I'm gonna have a look. I downloaded it and it's a "simple" BAT file so I think I can port it to Linux bash script quite easy, then provide an optino to choose to auto port theme to whatever ROM you want. If this works it can be a killing feature I guess![]()
There is Cyanogen Mod alpha 7.4. You should upgrade![]()
CM 7.3 UnderVolted + 8GB Class4 Kingston
The kernel 2.6.29.6 is included in cm7.4 as default! You should show that that is the default for cyanogenmod!
I have: CM9 UNOFFICIAL builds for spica
Clockworkmod Recovery 5.5.0.4
Android 4.0.4
