    P/S:
    - Most case it's safe without IMEI lost during proper flashing firmware, but sometime maybe you lost focus or do sth stupid as me (format the EFS partion...) you will lost IMEI so no FROYO update anymore. Just for this issue make sure to backup the /efs folder to a safe place (inside you can check your origin nv_data.bin with the precious IMEI inside)
    - for trouble free flashing make sure that you guys using titanium backup to bk all apps, then do the hard reset (or even do wipe data/cache @ recovery) before apply new firmware using ODIN, this will help fixing lots of issue that just because our laziness

As i know most 5801 users go for JPB already, and it's the best FROYO up to now. Offcourse there will be some bugs, but we can live along with it. Just do it and you can see that it's worth for your efforts.

YES we use the same ODIN as SPICA, just make sure using the right OPS

All roms use OPS 531 (531 is the new OPS and almost lastest firmware using this one) and they can be flashed using ODIN for 5800. ODIN and OPS for GALAXY 3 HERE

    1) Select "One Package" (if you download firmware with only one .tar as in 1st post)
    2) Select OPS file for I5800
    3) In one package select the firmware that you want to flash.
    4) Start

In about two minutes your mobile will be upgrade.

PLS keep focus so everything will be fine and make sure do as i mention @ first post (backup /efs folder and do hard reset before and after flash firmware)

i get the feeling, we will never get a custom rom for galaxy 3...... all these roms are more or less the same....
