I've had problems today where even after flashing the 7.3 camera patch, the camera stops working after a few hours sleeping... I think it's generally incompatible with the 7.5 package and may be unstable because of this...

I've reflashed the camera patch and it worked fine for a few test photos, but after a while it couldn't connect to the camera again

Is there a package to reinstall the new 7.5 kernel without having to reinstall the whole package again?

    [edit]
Scrap that - I found it

Hey Tom! Is already DroidBoot fully functional? Right now you are correcting stuff at the level kermel as I can see, but will you develop the libpreview of the camera soon?

BTW, since you will be reporting to your work at Samsung RD in a couple of days, will you cut your current job or you think that maybe they will be allowing you to continue?

All the basic functionality is there and I'm currently booting one of my phones using it. Support for Android .img format is still to be done, but it will allow using of kernel images generated automatically by Android build system. There is also no installation script available yet.

Just after I add support for bluetooth voice calls, which shouldn't take much time.

I will discuss this with my executives and try to get permission to continue my community work, but I can't guarantee anything. Even if, it might be possible that I won't have too much time to spend on it.

Hey, what is this BootDroid/DroidBoot thing? Google's search results don't satisfy me at all. It says something about Windows Mobile and stuff...
Besides, is the problem with bad routing when headphones without mic are connected a serious (and hard to fix) one?
Nokia N9 with MeeGo Harmattan PR 1.3 with some improvements
Samsung Galaxy Spica GT-i5700 with tom3q's awesome Cyanogenmod 7.2 alpha 7.9 - second phone in case if something goes wrong

It's minimalistic kernel with modified CWM recovery that allows automated booting of other kernels (from internal memory and memory card) using kexec, including a graphical boot menu, configurable kernel command line switches, configurable keyboard shortcuts and USB mass storage mode.

Hopefully not. I will look into it when adding bluetooth voice support to libaudio.

So in short, BootDroid is a GRUB/LILO for Android phones?
My spica is running on Tom3q's Magic and Wizardry

Technically it's completely different, but functionally yes.

Reflash your phone with Odin back to 2.1, using the three flash method. Then flash 2.2, reboot the phone several times (but not into recovery, just normal reboot). Then finally flash CM7 again.
