"Lock Screen" and "Search" button's

What do we get:
1) Search button will have the functions of the lock button
2) Lock button will not work
What's we need:
1) Direct hands
2) Samsung Galaxy Spica
3) Root Explorer
4) ES Explorer

Remember no one is responsible for what you do, except yourself!
Don't forget do backup!

1) Run ES Eplorer, in settings turn on root eplorer function and mount /system
2) Go into /system/usr/keylayout folder
3) Open samsung-keypad.kl and change "key 226 SEARCH WAKE_DROPPED" to "key 226 POWER WAKE". Save it and close.
4) Open gpio-keys.kl and delete string with "key 251 POWER WAKE". Save it and close.
5) Run Root Explorer go into /system/usr/keylayout folder and set permissions to samsung-keypad.kl and gpio-keys.kl:

6) Reboot your spica

I think, in the file "gpio-keys.kl" need change "key 251 POWER WAKE" to "key 251 HOME WAKE_DROPPED".
I can not test it because I have a broken lock button

This doesn't work for me; when I try to save changes it gives me an error and doesn't save the file. Anyone help?

As for me, applying a patch at the Recovery is simplier than doing as described at the heading. Here is my patch which should do the same with which is described there.
